Standards for Preventing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
Effective: Jan 16, 2025
I. Overview
Child sexual abuse and exploitation are not only severe societal issues but also pose significant harm to the physical and mental health, dignity, and development of children. In the digital age, with the proliferation of social platforms, online games, video streaming, and instant messaging tools, children face an increasing risk of online sexual exploitation and abuse. Therefore, we have established strict preventive standards to safeguard children’s safety and prevent sexual exploitation and abuse.

III. Preventive Measures
1. Technological Prevention
1.1 Content Monitoring and Filtering
1.1.1 We perform real-time analysis on images, videos, and text uploaded to our app. These technologies help identify and flag potential child sexual abuse, exploitation, and related sensitive content (e.g., child pornography).
1.1.2 Image Recognition Technology: Detects child sexual abuse images, especially those containing exposed body parts or sexual acts involving children.
1.1.3 Video Analysis: Analyzes videos to identify any inappropriate sexual behavior involving children, child participation in sexual activities, or potential child sexual violence scenes.
1.2 Behavior Identification and Anomaly Detection
1.2.1 Real-Time Chat Content Monitoring: Monitors chat content in our app to identify behavior that may involve attempting to lure children into exploitation, such as using keywords like “children”, “teenager” or “minor” to trigger alerts.
1.2.2 Behavior Pattern Analysis: Analyzes user behavior patterns to identify potential suspicious activities, such as detecting if strangers share children’s personal information or upload sensitive content involving children.
1.3 Combination of Automated and Manual Review
1.3.1 Automated Review Tools: We use tools to automatically detect and block inappropriate content, ensuring real-time scanning of images, videos, and text to prevent the upload or sharing of inappropriate content involving children.
1.3.2 Manual Review Mechanism: Complex or sensitive content that cannot be accurately assessed by the system will be reviewed by specially trained personnel capable of identifying child sexual exploitation and related behaviors.
2. App Management
Content Upload and Sharing
2.1 Prohibited Uploads and Screening: We prohibit users from uploading personal photos or videos of children. We implement a strict review process combining image recognition and manual audits to ensure no inappropriate content is uploaded.
2.2 Report and Warning Mechanism: A clear and easy-to-use reporting function is provided, allowing users to report illegal or inappropriate content involving children. The reporting system ensures a fast response time for rapid issue resolution.
3. Education and Training
Developer and Staff Training
3.1 Child Protection Training: All developers, content moderators, customer service staff, and management undergo regular professional training on preventing child sexual exploitation and abuse, improving their ability to identify and respond to such incidents.
3.2 Ethical and Legal Compliance: We ensure employees understand the legal regulations that we must comply with, particularly those related to child protection, such as the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the EU.
4.Legal Compliance and International Cooperation
4.1 Legal Compliance
4.1.1 App Compliance: We ensure adherence to relevant child protection laws and regulations in various countries and regions, such as COPPA and GDPR.
4.1.2 Timely Reporting of Illegal Activities: We have a clear process in place to ensure that any identified incidents of child sexual abuse or exploitation are promptly reported.
4.2 International Cooperation
Cross-border Law Enforcement Collaboration: We will collaborate with global law enforcement agencies and child protection organizations, particularly in cases of international child trafficking and exploitation, sharing information and working together to resolve such cases.
IV. Supervision
